Build Financial Strategy That Actually Fits Your Business

Most training programs teach you theory. We'll show you how to align financial decisions with where your business is headed in the next three years. Our approach focuses on practical frameworks that adapt as your goals shift.

Why Goal-Based Financial Planning Works Better

Back in 2018, I worked with a manufacturing client who kept asking about investment vehicles. But when we mapped out their actual business goals for the next five years, we realized they needed something completely different. Their growth timeline didn't match typical financial advice.

That experience changed how I teach. Instead of starting with financial instruments, we start with your business trajectory. Where are you trying to take things? What resources do you need along the way? The financial strategy follows from there, not the other way around.

Our programs run twice yearly, with the next cohort starting September 2025. We cap enrollment at 18 participants because this approach needs genuine attention to each business context.

How Our 8-Week Program Unfolds

Each session builds on the previous, but you can adjust the pace based on what your business needs right now.

1

Map Your Business Goals

We spend the first two weeks getting clear on where you're headed. Not vague aspirations, but specific milestones for 12, 24, and 36 months out. This becomes your reference point for every financial decision.

2

Align Resources With Timeline

Once goals are clear, we look at what resources you'll need and when. Cash flow patterns, capital requirements, operational buffers. This is where theory meets your actual business reality.

3

Build Decision Frameworks

The next three weeks focus on creating systems you can use to evaluate opportunities. Should you expand? Hire? Invest in new equipment? You'll have frameworks that match your goals.

4

Practice With Real Scenarios

The final weeks involve applying everything to actual decisions you're facing. We work through current challenges using the frameworks we've built together.

Financial Strategy Instructor

I spent twelve years in commercial finance before moving to education in 2011. What I noticed during those years was how often business owners made financial decisions based on what they'd heard worked for someone else, rather than what fit their specific situation.

Teaching lets me help owners think through their unique circumstances. Every business has different growth patterns, risk tolerance, and resource needs. The financial approach needs to reflect that, not follow a template.

What Makes This Approach Different

We don't teach financial planning as a separate discipline. It's always connected to where you're trying to take your business.

Goals Come First

Before discussing any financial strategies, we map out your business objectives for the next three years. Your financial plan serves those goals, not the other way around.

Flexible Frameworks

Business conditions change. We build decision-making systems that adapt when your situation shifts, rather than rigid plans that become outdated in six months.

Small Cohort Size

We cap enrollment at 18 participants per session. This isn't scalable education, it's detailed work with businesses at different stages facing different challenges.

Next Program Starts September 2025

Applications open in June. If you're planning significant business moves in the next 18 months and want financial strategy that aligns with those plans, this might be worth exploring.
